Designers with Swiss Federal Proficiency Certificate (EFZ) work together with engineers to translate concepts into products for daily use. They design individual components and modules for equipment and production facilities. They create design drawings and develop technical documents on the computer. They develop, model and design mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment, machines and facilities. They work in businesses in the machine, electronic and metal industry (MEM industry).
