Length of training: 3 years, starting in August 2026

Logisticians with Swiss Federal Proficiency Certificate (EFZ) transport, store and distribute goods. They know the entire process chain, which enables them to react appropriately to disturbances. They guarantee high quality and profitability of workflows, comply with the requirements of occupational health and safety and environmental protection while ensuring high energy and resource efficiency. At Montech AG, logisticians work in the warehouse and in forwarding. Logisticians at Montech excel in efficient goods transport and storage, utilizing their Swiss Federal Proficiency Certificate (EFZ) to ensure seamless process chains, occupational health and safety compliance, and resource-efficient workflows.

These are your duties
  • They monitor incoming goods independently and store them properly in the correct locations.
  • They prepare goods for processing in Montech departments or for direct shipping (the right items, correct quantities, at the required times)
  • They carry out regular checks of the stocks
  • They obtain the forklift operator’s license recognized by the Swiss National Accident Insurance Fund (Suva)
  • They unload and load deliveries of goods independently
    (Assist the unloading of goods with the forklift at delivery)
  • Packaging and loading of goods

Training locations

The headquarters of the company Montech AG will be the main location of your training.

Other relevant training sites are the Olten Vocational Training Center in Olten and, for the inter-company courses, the Educational Center of the Swiss Association of Vocational Training and Logistics ASFL SFBL.

What is taught at these locations?

The inter-company courses teach the basic principles for a professional handling of goods: from receipt, unloading, transshipment, to inspection and integrated management. In-depth training is also provided on the correct and safe use of available means of transport (e.g. forklift or vehicles).
