The challenge
There’s always a lot going on at the airport, which makes it all the more important that check-in be fast and efficient. However, high bag drop systems can slow down these processes and make them tedious. A company specializing in airport solutions was therefore looking for belt conveyors with a low overall height that they could integrate with into existing systems. In the process, it found our TB40.
The solution
The
TB40 belt conveyor stands out clearly from other belt conveyors on the market thanks to its low overall height. This feature is crucial for check-in at the airport: A lower luggage belt for the bag drop makes life easy for travelers, since they don’t have to lift their bags as high to put them on the scales. The compact design of the TB40 without lateral contours that get in the way makes it possible to build the entire check-in unit in a space-saving manner. The 24V motor allows transport of up to 200 kg and is covered by the low-voltage guidelines. This is a great advantage for system builders: With a DC voltage of 24V, no protection against touching is required; these voltages are considered to be harmless to adults, children, and animals. Therefore, it is no problem to comply with the different country-specific regulations for creating the system certificate and declaration of conformity. The efficient belt conveyor TB40 with its low height provides a streamlined solution, ensuring smooth and swift baggage handling processes at the airport.
