There, you learn and practice the basics of the profession \u2013 drawing and design techniques, product development, design methodology, and production technology. An additional inter-company course organized by VAKB Bern is offered to especially prepare for the partial exam that is held at the end of the second year of apprenticeship which also completes the basic education. Apprentices can acquire practical experience in assembly and production technology in our own Assembly and Quality Assurance Departments and during an internship of several weeks at the BLV Training Center in Zuchwil.
