The challenge<\/h2> \r\nAn innovative company that specializes in the development and manufacturing of medical devices \u2013 including surgical instruments and drug delivery devices, patient monitoring systems, syringes, and infusion devices \u2013 wanted to optimize its production processes. A secure transport system was required to transport syringes vertically. The syringes coming out of the machine should be transported to the next stage of the production line via a belt conveyor, where they are collected and transported to a transfer system, which then sorts the syringes to the various dispensing points. With this improved process, the company wants to ensure maximum efficiency in its production. To achieve this, it was looking for a reliable partner with high quality standards to ensure the quality and integrity of its products throughout the entire production process. Like all medical devices, syringes have high requirements for sensitivity and precision. \r\n\r\n

The Solution<\/h2> \r\n\r\nWith our KTB belt conveyor (new: TB30 dual belt conveyor<\/a>), we proposed a solution that was perfectly tailored to the customer's needs. It is specially designed for the safe vertical transport of syringes with a maximum speed of up to 7.6 m\/min. The KTB belt conveyor is equipped with a brushless DC motor with a center drive, which guarantees smooth and controlled movement of the syringes during transport. Special side guides and belt supports ensure correct positioning of the syringes on the belt conveyor and keep them upright on the belt conveyor throughout the process. That\u2019s how this solution ensures safe and efficient transport of the syringes as well as continuous and uninterrupted production. \r\n\r\n
