Modern airports and train stations require efficient, reliable, and fully automated self-check-in handling systems to cater to a large number of travelers with diverse luggage types. These systems must swiftly and accurately weigh the luggage and seamlessly transfer it into the airport's automatic luggage handling process for further processing.
To meet these specific requirements, we implemented the TB40 belt conveyor model with a high-power-density 24V DC motor integrated directly into the drive roller. The belt conveyor was designed in two-line sections. In the first section, the luggage passes through the scale. Once each item of luggage is accurately weighed and registered, it smoothly transitions to the second line section. From there, a release signal efficiently transfers each item of luggage to the fully automated luggage handling process situated behind the conveyor lines. For both line sections, we utilize special flame-retardant, low-noise, and highly durable belt conveyors to comply with airport safety regulations.
