The challenge
The goal of a dry ice manufacturer was to transition from manual to automated production. Overcoming varying ejection and working heights of different machines while maintaining mobility was a significant challenge. Additionally, the solution needed to accommodate the ability to push aside the belt conveyors when not in use. Another requirement was to enable the sawing of ice blocks during production.
The solution
To fulfill the customer's request, we implemented a total of five belt conveyors – two TB40s and three TB30s – to automate the dry ice production. By positioning the TB30 belt conveyor with an incline after the dry ice block machine, there was no need for a second belt conveyor or a conveyor with a bend. The belt saw responsible for cutting the ice blocks was strategically placed between the two TB30 belt conveyors. To ensure mobility, all five belt conveyors were designed with a mobile base. Achieve efficient optimization for dry ice production with our innovative automation system, featuring strategically placed belt conveyors that accommodate varying ejection and working heights while maintaining mobility. With a space-saving design and versatile use for different processing machines, our solution streamlines the workflow and enables on-demand utilization for optimal efficiency, all wrapped in an attractive and functional design.
