The transfer system with curves and return must overcome a small height difference of 0.78 in (20 mm) in order to transfer the workpiece carriers with products to another level. The overcoming of the height difference is implemented by a bend between two conveyor belts.
Compared to a lift, this is a space-saving and cost-effective solution. The bend, which consists of standardized components, can also be used to overcome larger height differences.
