The challenge <\/h2>\r\nFor its production, a customer from the electronics industry needed new test stations that check the workpiece carrier from below. The customer wanted a double belt for this. The problem is: With a double belt, the workpiece carrier tilts between the two belts, gets stuck, and cannot be transported around the curve to the next belt conveyor. \r\n\r\n \r\n

The solution <\/h2>\r\nBy equipping the curve area with an additional flat belt, we were able to close up the free space between the narrow belts of the belt conveyor<\/a>. As a result, the workpiece carrier is conveyed across the entire surface of the curve. Because we have integrated the broad flat belt into the belt conveyor, it is driven by the belt conveyor's motor. No additional drive is necessary. This solution is comparable to the standard transfer unit of the LT40 transfer system<\/a>. \r\n\r\n
