Our new roller conveyors – maximum flexibility for modern material flows
Roller conveyors are essential components in conveyor technology. They enable efficient, reliable, and economical transport of various goods – from small parts to heavy or large products. With the new RB4020 and RB5025 gravity roller conveyors, we are offering an enhanced product solution that delivers maximum flexibility and precise configurability.
In production, assembly, and logistics environments, material flows need to be flexible, resilient, and scalable. Roller conveyors provide a versatile basis for this. They operate without complex mechanics, integrate seamlessly with existing processes, and support both manual and automated workflows. Demand for variable conveyor technology is growing, and state-of-the-art gravity roller conveyors are increasingly adapting to these requirements.
What is a roller conveyor?
A roller conveyor is a conveyor that moves goods using rollers – either by gravity or with an optional drive. It has a frame with several integrated free-bearing rollers. These rollers provide low-friction movement and allow a controlled transport flow. Depending on the manufacturer, materials, frame designs, and load capacities vary, so roller conveyors can be designed for a wide variety of industrial applications.
What are the advantages of roller conveyors?
Gravity roller conveyors are among the most efficient conveyor solutions because they use a simple, robust mechanism and often operate without a drive. This makes them particularly low-maintenance and economical to operate. In addition, they can be manufactured in various dimensions and accommodate both light and heavy goods. Thanks to their open design, they are easy to clean, can be integrated into existing layouts, and are suitable for both manual and automated processes. This combination of efficiency, durability, and adaptability makes roller conveyors a central technology in industrial material flow.
Typical applications of gravity roller conveyors
Roller conveyors are used in almost every industry – wherever goods need to be moved reliably and economically. They can be found in logistics and distribution centers, the packaging and assembly industry, plastics and automotive production, and order picking and shipping areas. They also demonstrate their value in airport environments and e-commerce centers, thanks to their scalability and outstanding transport capabilities. Gravity roller conveyors serve as connections between workstations, feed test processes, and buffer products. As industrial processes become increasingly varied and complex, the demands on flexibility, precision, and integration are also increasing. This is precisely where we are starting with a new generation of roller conveyors.
Modular toolkit for custom conveying solutions
Our new roller conveyor line is available in two sizes: the RB4020, with a 20-millimeter support roller, is suitable for light goods, and the RB5025, with a 50-millimeter support roller, is ideal for heavy or large products. The new product line is designed to precisely adapt conveyor systems to individual transport tasks and spatial conditions. With the introduction of this product line, we are responding to growing demand for flexible, scalable roller conveyor solutions that integrate with existing processes.
Advantages and possible applications of the new roller conveyors
The new product line is characterized by exceptional variability: Each gravity roller conveyor can be custom designed with precision for conveyor width and track length, and roller spacing can be adjusted as needed. In contrast to many competing products, all available versions – single-track, double-track, multi-track, and as tandem – can be combined freely and assembled to form a consistent, comprehensive solution that suits your needs perfectly. In addition, side guides are available in various versions, and a substructure based on the precise MPS aluminum framing system enables the roller conveyors to be adapted even more precisely to products, processes, and spatial requirements.
Optimized planning and quick availability
This means it is possible to develop a transport concept precisely tailored to processes, load requirements, and layout specifications. We have deliberately designed the system to be modular to minimize interfaces, reduce integration effort, and ensure a smooth, consistent transport flow. Despite this custom production, the gravity roller conveyors are available quickly and can be delivered within just seven working days. In addition, a digital configurator will soon help customers plan new roller conveyors. This gives companies a tool that can provide individual configurations, CAD data, and pricing in mere seconds.
